Charles Edward "Charlie" Patterson, 57, of Mt. Vernon passed away Wednesday morning, August 28, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on January 20, 1962, the son of Andrew Walter & Lucy June (Dobbs) Patterson.
He liked fishing and he loved his puppy.
Mr. Patterson is survived by his:

2 Step-Daughters:
Tish Turner of Indiana
Nicky Reid of Texico
2 Sisters:
Carolyn Overturf & husband Maurice of Bonnie
Nancy Sison & husband Jerry of Gulfport, MS
2 Brothers:
Bobby Patterson & JoAnn of Ina
Jerry Patterson of Mt. Vernon
Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his Parents, by his Wife-Beverly & by 3 Brothers-Andrew Walter Patterson, Jr., Donald Patterson & Billy Joe Patterson.
It was Mr. Patterson's wishes to be cremated. Family & Friends are invited to gather at Carolyn's home at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 31st.
The Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is assisting with arrangements.
