Johnnie Friar

Johnnie Friar, 79, of Ina "Went Home to be with the Lord", Tuesday night, August 14, 2018.
He was born in Spring Garden, IL on May 27, 1939, the son of George Washington & Lottie Viola (Dunavon) Friar. He married June W. Hall on May 23, 1960.
Mr. Friar was an extremely giving & forgiving person. He would help anyone with anything at anytime. He was passionate about his family. He worked three lifetimes of jobs. He was talented in so many different ways, in moving houses & mechanic work. All of his sons followed his example.

Mr. Friar was preceded in death by his Parents, by a Son-Danny & by a Great-Granddaughter-Ramsie Rushing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 20th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Rev. Larry D. Clyatt officiating. Burial will be in Hams Grove Cemetery in Belle Rive. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the Johnston Funeral Home.
