Mary Alice (Lingle) Willmore

MARY ALICE WILLMORE, 89, of Mt. Vernon passed away Friday morning, Nov. 22, 2019 at her home.

She was born in Jefferson County, IL on August 27, 1930, the daughter of Loyd & Hazel (Crumley) Lingle.

She married Roy T. Willmore on Aug. 18, 1948, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1991.

Mrs. Willmore attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Willmore is survived by her 3 children:

Steve Willmore & wife Tammy of Opdyke

Avonda Schmitz & husband Bob of Belleville

Mrs. Willmore was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, by a daughter-in-law: Betty Willmore, by a stepgrandson: Walter Eckerle, by 2 brothers: Glen & Bud, and by a lifelong penpal from England: Joan Barry.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. WEDNESDAY, Nov. 27th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Rev. Russell Gaston officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Smith Cemetery.
