Paul Richard Schmitt

Paul RIchard Schmitt, 79, of Mt. Vernon passed away Thursday morning, November 1, 2018.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on June 18, 1939, the son of Harry & Myrtle (Campbell) Schmitt.
Mr. Schmitt was an Army Veteran. He worked in construction for many years and was involved in the building of the Times Square Mall and Interstates 57 & 64.

Wendell Schmitt of Utah
Larry Schmitt of Joliet
Carl Schmitt of Aurora
Mr. Schmitt was preceded in death by his Parents, by a Son-Paul Richard Schmitt, Jr., by a Sister-Barbara & by Brothers-Leon, David, Clarence, Wayne, Bobby, Charles & Gene and the Mother of his children-Darlas Roberts.
Memorial services will be held at the West Side Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 9th. 
Military Honors will be conducted by the Mt. Vernon American Legion Post #141.
The Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is in charge off arrangements.
