William “Bill” Ring, 74, of Nason passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born in McKenzie, TN on June 6, 1944, the son of William E. Ring & Ann White. Mr. Ring was a Marine Corps Veteran, serving in Vietnam for 4 years. He was a Truck Driver for 26 years, he was a million miler and was very proud of that accomplishment. Mr. Ring was an Inspector for General Motors, and was a Safety Chairman at GM. Mr. Ring is survived by his:

He was preceded in death by his Parents and his Stepfather who he called Dad: James White.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 9th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Chaplain Ernie Collins officiating. Burial with Military rites conducted by the Mt. Vernon American Legion Post #141 will be in the Smith Veterans Cemetery-Belle Rive. Visitation will be after 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.
