Barbara Jane (Droll) Dockery

Barbara Jane Dockery (nee Droll) passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024, at the age of 92 in Concord, CA. She was born on May 29, 1931, in Franklin County, Illinois. Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Barbara was a kind and extraordinary woman who touched the lives of many. She moved from Indiana to California to help Pam raise her 3 children. She was a long-time employee at Chevron Headquarters in San Francisco until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Vince) Cardinale, and grandchildren: Nathan Graham, Shea Cardinale, Brett Cardinale, David Hafoka, and Carolyn Money. Barbara was also cherished by many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Ron (Linda) & Don (Marilyn) Droll of Chandler, Indiana.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Glenn (Rick) Dockery, and her brothers, Bill (Jean) and Larry Droll of Arizona.

A memorial service to honor Barbara's life will take place at Shiloh Cemetery in Franklin County, Illinois, on May 7th of 2024 at 1:00 P.M. Johnston Funeral Home in Ina, Illinois, is assisting with the arrangements.

Barbara Dockery's legacy of kindness and love will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
