Billy Don Grahlherr, 84, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, while getting ready to attend a tractor pull with his son — something he’d enjoyed doing for decades.
Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was the son of Bill and Fern Grahlherr. He grew up on a farm in Jefferson County, Illinois, but lived in Saint Louis County, Missouri, for the past 56 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Delores Grahlherr née Baker; his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Paula Grahlherr; and his two grandchildren, Tammy and Anna. He is also survived by his brother, Fred Grahlherr; his sister, Judy Grisley; and nieces Mary Susan, Julie Ann, Lynn, and Dawn.
He lived a full life, working hard, staying close to his family, and enjoying his many hobbies. Bill was an avid reader, hunter, antique tractor puller, and musician/singer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, Illinois.
