Billy Frank Marshall

BILLY FRANK MARSHALL, 75, of Ewing, passed away at 11:50 A.M. Monday, March 14, 2022 at the VA Medical Center in Marion.

He was born in Ewing, IL on October 30, 1946, the son of Howard W. & Patty Sue (Batts) Marshall.

Mr. Marshall served in the U.S. Army from November 15, 1966 to September 17, 1968.

He married Jeannette (Wilkerson), and she preceded him in death on December 22, 2010.  He then married Ginger Atchison, and she survives.

Mr. Marshall was a member of the Ina Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a Farmer and an avid horseman.

Wife: Ginger Marshall of Ewing

2 Sons:  Kevin Marshall & wife Golda of Ewing

               Loren Marshall & wife Angie of Ewing

Step-Daughter: Lora Justice & husband Thom Ancel of Nevada, Iowa

Grandchildren: Deanna Russell, Katie Bradham, Matthew Marshall, Samantha Marshall

Step-Grandchildren: Katie Justice, Damian Waltz, Mason Waltz and Matthew L. Marshall

Great-Grandchildren: Gracie Jo Min Kim, Benjamin Oliver Russell, Levanna Bradham, William Bradham, Freya Bradham, Jay Ryan Hertenstein and Wyatt Ray Wilson

Sister-in-law: Candace Marshall of Mt. Vernon

Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his Parents, by a Great-Grandson-Ryan, by his Brother-Dale Marshall and by a Stepson-James Justice.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 18th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Dr. Roger Marshall officiating.  Burial with Military Rites conducted by the Benton American Legion Post #280 & VFW Post #2671 will be in the Williams Chapel Cemetery in Ewing.  Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
