Carl William Howard

Carl William Howard, 88, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023.

Mr. Howard was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on February 28, 1935 the son of Hansel & Jewell (Martin) Howard.

Mr. Howard was preceded by his Parents-Hansel & Jewell Howard of Bonnie, his wife Ruth Ann Howard, and his Son-Danny Howard.

He is survived by his sisters Imogene Forgason and Pauletta Cook (husband Andrew); his children Debbie Werlick (husband Tom), David Howard, Dale Howard (wife Lingenia), and Carla Herbst (husband Howard); step-children Joe Curran, Freida Mobes, and Karen Chapman. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 1st at the Kirk Cemetery in Ina. There will be No Visitation, those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery.
