Carolyn Sue (Hall) Smith

Carolyn Sue Smith, 75, of Carbondale passed away Friday afternoon, March 2, 2018, at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.  She was born in Nason, IL on Nov. 8, 1942 the daughter of John & Vada (Marlow) Hall.

She married Elza Smith on Aug. 28, 1965 in Sesser, and he survives in Carbondale.

Daughter: Mary Lisa Smith of Carbondale

2 Sisters: June Friar & husband John of Ina

                 Marilyn Morris of Sesser

1 Brother: Lloyd Hall of Mt. Vernon

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her Parents, by a brother: Charles Hall & by a half-sister: Margaret Fry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 5th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Rev. R. G. Null officiating.  Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.  Visitation will be after 9 A.M. Monday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.
