Dave Carlen

DAVE CARLEN, 75, of Bonnie, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon due to complications from COVID-19.

He was born in Mattoon, IL on Sept. 7, 1945, the son of Ramoth & Alice (Baker) Carlen.

Mr. Carlen married Marie Carlen on March 20, 1965.

Mr. Carlen is survived by his:

Wife: Marie Carlen of Bonnie

Son: Dave Carlen Jr. & wife Karen of New Jersey

3 Granddaughters: Jenna & Vince

                                   Kayla

                                    Sarah

1 Brother: John Carlen of North Carolina

Mr. Carlen was preceded in death by his Parents.

It was Mr. Carlen’s wishes to be cremated, and as per his request no services will be held.

The Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is in charge of arrangements.
