Donna J. Dodson, 78, of Mt. Vernon passed away Monday morning, February 15, 2021 at the Mt. Vernon Care Center.
Donna was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on October 2, 1942, the daughter of David & Addie Wells Ellis.
Mrs. Dodson was a member of the West Side Baptist Church.
Mrs. Dodson is survived by her:
Husband: Robert Dodson of Mt. Vernon
2 Children:
Cary Dodson & wife Kimberlee of Cabot, Arkansas
Michele Maynor & husband Lyle of Mt. Vernon
3 Grandchildren:
Matthew & Michala Dodson
Jordan Maynor
Step-Granddaughter: Chelsee Fane of Las Vegas, NV
2 Great-Grandchildren: Kaylee & Gianna
Mrs. Dodson was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 Sisters-Joyce & Linda and a Brother-Butch.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 20th at the Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Vernon with Pastor Don Evans officiating. Burial will follow. There will be No Visitation, those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery.
