Esther A (Whisenhunt) Williams

Esther A. Williams, 94, of Mt. Vernon passed away Sunday morning January 17, 2021  in Fairfield.
Esther was born in Bonnie, IL on May 30, 1926 the daughter of Dexter & Mary J. (Dial) Whisenhunt.
She married Claud W. Williams on June 9, 1946 at the Bonnie Church of God, and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2008.
Mrs. Williams attended the First Free Will Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon. Mrs. Williams was in retail sales all her life.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sister-Evelyn Lowery.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 20th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Bro. David Shores officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. 
We ask everyone attending the services to be considerate of others and to practice social distancing. We are limited to 25 people in our building at a time, and everyone attending is encouraged to wear a mask.
