Karen Blakely, 65, of Pinckneyville passed away Wednesday evening April 18, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Salem, IL on March 1, 1953 the daughter of the late Robert Lane and the daughter of the late Alene (Hanks) Allphin.
She married Richard Blakely on January 6, 2001, and he survives.

Karen was preceded in death by her Mother & Father, Step-Father: Harvey Allphin and by a Granddaughter: Natalie Kash.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 21st at the Elkville Christian Church with Pastor Richard Castleman officiating.Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Church. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 22nd at the Evergreen Christian Church in Salem, IL. Graveside services will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy, IL on Sunday.
