Loretta Heard Obituary

Loretta Sue Heard, 82, of Ina, Illinois left this world for her heavenly home on Friday December 8, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Sue was born June 22, 1941 in Jefferson County, Illinois to Haden Lester and Juanita Maxine Sweetin. She married Leamon Bryce Heard on July 25, 1960 and from that union three daughters were born.
Sue was a homemaker first and foremost, devoted to her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her and she never shied away from making a favorite meal, a costume, helping with homework or a school project, or sitting in the audience for countless performances and events.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ronnie Sweetin, sister Patsy Peterson and grandson Daniel Marvel. She is survived by husband Bryce Heard, daughters Rhonda (Phillip) Rone, Becky (Mark) Luffman, Kim (Rich) Marvel; grandchildren Katie (Matt) Kiesow, Dana Rone (Corey Newcomb), Haden Rone (Holly Williams), Rachel Luffman; great granddaughters Gabrielle, Emmalyn, Macyn Kiesow, Evelyn Newcomb, Lillith Rone; brother Don Sweetin, special uncle Dick Watts, sister-in-law Prudy Hunt;  close cousins Karen Shaw and Jeanette Reininger, and a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews.
