Mary E. (Settle) Pierce

MARY E. PIERCE, 91, of Ina passed away Wednesday morning, March 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Ina, IL on July 18, 1929, the daughter of Howard & Edna (Cook) Settle.

She married Everett “Bud” Pierce on Dec. 21, 1946 in Mayfield, KY, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2014.

Mrs. Pierce was a longtime faithful member of the Ina Free Will Baptist Church, where she and her husband Bud served as Janitors for many years.  Mrs. Pierce worked for several years at the Sunshine Center, and loved crocheting and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, by a Son-Kent Pierce, by a Granddaughter-Monica Pierce, by a Brother-Marvin Settle and by 2 Sisters-Millie Oslager & Martha Hawkins Oslager.  GRAVESIDE Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. FRIDAY, March 5th at the Kirk Cemetery in Ina with Bro. Brad Ryan & Bro. David Shores officiating.   There will be No Public Visitation, those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery.
