Minnie O (Williams) Clinton

Minnie O. Clinton, 100, of Ewing passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Centralia Manor.

Minnie was born in Franklin County. IL on September 29, 1919, the daughter of Loran & Clitie (Marshall) Williams.

She married Wendell Clinton in December of 1937 and he preceded her in death in August of 1986.

Mrs. Clinton attended Williams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church until it became Emmaus Road Baptist Church where she was a member. She was a farm wife, growing up on a farm and living on a farm her entire life.

                           Gale Clinton & wife Judy of Ewing

                4 Granddaughters:

                           Diana Bushue & Duane of Benton

                           Christina Bartel & Jeff of Bloomington

                           Angela Vale & Dave of Bloomington

                5 Great-Grandchildren

                3 Great-Great-Grandchildren

                Several Nieces & Nephews

Mrs. Clinton was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 4 Sisters-Lois Smith, Mary Rose, Bertha Dalby & Loraine Cochrane and by 1 Brother-Howard Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 9th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Pastor Marty Ellsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
