Paulette (Beaty) Ashby

Paulette Ashby, 77, of Ina passed away Sunday morning, January 11, 2026 at her home.

She was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on December 18, 1948 the daughter of Dean & Eva (Nihells) Beaty.

She married Gary Ashby on July 1, 1967 and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2015.

Paulette was a hard worker, taking care of others working as a CNA for many years. She loved arts & crafts. She was a loving Mother & Grandmother.

7 Grandchildren: Vanessa Bean, Ariel Ibarra, Brooke Ashby, Olivia Ashby, Amber Hall, Trevor Johnson & Reece Johnson.

10 Great-Grandchildren: Sean, Logan, Cole, Bentley, Layla, Destuny, Stella, Samuel, Mady, Weston

Lisa Brown & husband Paul

Mrs. Ashby was preceded in death by her Parents and her Husband.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. on Friday, January 16th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with John Ashby officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Visitation will be from 11:00 A. M. to 1:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home.
