Robert E. "Bob" Young, Sr.

Robert E. "Bob" Young, Sr., 82, of Bonnie passed away Tuesday evening, February 5, 2019.
He was born in Whittington, IL on September 7, 1936, the son of Frank & Beatrice (Casey) Young.
Mr. Young married Ruth (Adams) and she preceded him in death on December 27, 2009. He married Jeanette (Jones) March on June 6, 2013 and she survives.
He was an Air Force Veteran, serving for 4 years. Bob worked for Ozark Airlines in several different capacities, and received his 50 year Pin. Bob loved his part-time jobs, serving as Usher & Supervisor for the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball & the St. Louis Rams Football. He was a member of the Amvets.

Step-Grandchildren: Jonathan Melton & Madalyn Melton

Mr. Young was preceded in death by his Parents, 1st Wife-Ruth Young, 2 Sisters-Betty Dixon & Barbara Anderson, and 2 Brothers-Paul Young & Howard Young.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 9th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Bro. David Shores officiating. Burial with Military Rites conducted by the Mt. Vernon American Legion Post #141 will be in the Shiloh Cemetery in Whittington. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the American Diabetes Association.
