Sharon (Summers) Fowler

SHARON FOWLER, 83, of Ina passed away Tuesday morning, March 9, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

She was born in Ina on April 7, 1937, the daughter of Leonard & Crisa (Jones) Summers.

She married Fred G. Fowler at the Ina Free Will Baptist Church on Oct. 23, 1955.

Mrs. Fowler was a member of the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and was active in the Birthday club. She was an avid reader, loved music, politics, fashion and was an excellent cook. Her greatest joy was the love she had for her husband, her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her Parents, by a Son-Brandon Gale Fowler & by 2 Sisters-Evadene & Jolane.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 13th at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Pastor Ken Petty & Pastor Craig Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

We ask everyone attending the services to be considerate if others and practice social distancing. We are limited to 50 people in our building at a time and masks are recommended.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Hope Cemetery in Mrs. Fowler’s memory.
