Stephen Laur, 55, of Mt. Vernon passed away Thursday morning, September 27, 2018 in Mt. Vernon.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on May 7, 1963.
Mr. Laur is survived by his:

Curtis Laur of Mt. Vernon
Alex Laur of Mt. Vernon
Kevin Howard of Mt. Vernon
Mother: Donna K. (Taylor) Joy of Mt. Vernon
3 Grandchildren:
Brother: Jody Laur of Woodlawn
Mr. Laur was preceded in death by a Brother-Michael Ray Laur & by a Sister-Monica Elaine Burgess and by his Step-father: Jack C. Taylor.
graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, October 5th at the Kirk Cemetery in Ina with Bro. David Shores officiating. There will be No Visitation, those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
