Teddy Dale Landon Harmon

Teddy Dale Landon Harmon of Whittington, IL passed away on March 21st, 2021.
Ted was born on October 27th, 1937 and married Donna Kelley on November 4th, 1955. Together they shared more than 64 years of marriage. 
Ted was a Navy Korean War Veteran and served as an Arlington Cemetery Ceremonial Guard. He was employed at Northwestern Steel and wire in Sterling, IL for 23 years as a machinist. After retiring Ted continued working for 8 years at Coal Age in Whittington, IL He served as the President of Rock River Restores and enjoyed antiquing. Ted was an author of two published books, one of which serves as a legacy for his grandchildren.
Ted is survived by his wife Donna and loving daughter, Peggy Squires of Sterling, IL Sisters Violet Mandrell, Bonnie Maller and brother Tom Harmon. Grandchildren Jessica, Jestin "Pokey", Fausha, Vanessa, Danielle and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Coy and Freida Harmon, his two sons David Harmon and Dave Squires. Brother Max Harmon and Sisters Delena Kniffen and Mary Lou Kniffen.  
Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24th at the Kirk Cemetery in Ina with Bro. Mike Kniffen officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Mt. Vernon American Legion Post #141.
